This years over 60's Xmas tea was held on Saturday 17th December 2011 click this link for details
Keavey is working on costing and organising a Golden Diamond celebration on the estate and is working on the idea of utilising the area in Croydon and Charing House as had been done on the occasion of The Queens Silver Jubilee in 1977..
The Proposed date is Monday 4th June 2012.
The event will be open to all fully paid up members of the Association together with members of their Family who live at the same address.
As a possible back up for this event , there is a possibility of joining in the celebration with the residents of Styles House on the grass area in front of their flats.

The Association will be holding a jumble sale on Saturday 31st March 2012 in St Andrews Church , Short Street.
We want to make this sale the most successful yet as the proceeds will be going towards having a Jubillee celebration party (if there is enough support ) or to another social event for our members later in the year,
If you have any items for the sale ( not books ) please drop them round to 21 Ufford Street or give us a call on 0207 928 0224
We are also looking to organise some event or outing for the youngsters on the estate. This is purely an idea at this time and we would welcome any suggestions
Also we are in the process of putting together a presentation on the history of the area for some time in the New Year and would be pleased to hear from anyone with old photos or articles for inclusion in this presentation.
